Here we go again

Keshco
Here we go again
Sitting intent
on outsitting everyone
- but everyone
seems to be having more fun
And I'm feeling something's gone
- don't you notice?
And the world has bowed its head
for the last time
And no - it's not just
that we're depressed
- oh and you say:
"I don't know if we're alive"

Pity on our souls
- do we even have souls?
And the scientists
They think
that it's all a silly shame
that we're all such silly dames
for believing
that this life isn't all it seems
it's no wonder
that people cling to what they see
on the T.V.
- and are we really alive?

But our culture is numbing
And sex is handled like plumbing
And anyone who resists is told:
"It's not art" or "it's too bold"

Try to make some sense
People incensed
- a bed in the gallery
But anyway, we're all still asleep
See the faces on the street
Like the zombies
And it's time that we stopped being so intent
On leading dull lives
The conversation is all spent
So hoard the ideas
And if we should ever awake:
The world has bowed its head
'Cause it's turned off
So tear your clothes up in to shreds
No it won't help
- but I'll find an answer quite soon
