The new ride the lightning

So what's the point
I can't do much unless it's free
There's so much smoke and i can't see
I'll spend the night with my tv
And i'll admit my favorite songs are all the same
But at least i think i can relate
I'm talking to myself, it's great

At least i know there's always room for some second guessing
That song sucks
Sometimes i'm bored
Maybe i'll just get a row across the floor
I won't be bothered anymore
And these are the reasons that i can't ignore

I'm poor and weird
I'll keep this brief and not pretentious
I'm not trying to be contentious
One day i will come to my senses
Wasted time
I don't mind the conversation
I get bored so i don't listen
Please forgive me
Cause i'm just listening to ride the lightning
I don't care so don't remind me
