The buckaroos
Louise, Roy & Elvis (Thierry Magnière)

Well in nineteen forty seven
Louise and her friends
Spent all the weeks ends
In front of a silver screen
Watchin' "singin' cowboys" movies & dreams.
Dreams will come true,
She'll see in through.
A single ticket to L.A. then Hollywood.
Her life was a long setback it's time to make it good.
Sky's always blue in California,
Nothing to grieve over Louisiana.
Every night she walked down Sunset Boulevard
Waitin' for a fancy actor and those words
"You are the sunshine of my life".
Years turn to fifty six,
Louise in a real fix
In RIALTO CITRUS CO,
Back home she wanna go.
But so far away the MAGAZINE CINEMA in MAGAZINE AVENUE.
ROY RODGERS is obsolete,
So easy to delete
With ELVIS and the rock'n roll run.
But she knows that ain't nothin' new under the sun.
