Aryadeva

Ode to the ancient pagans

Aryadeva
They come with their beliefs from the eastern lands,
Swords on the right hand and holy books on the left,
Kneel down to their god or have their necks slaughtered,
Homes and crops destroyed as they swept the land

Salute to our pagan ancestors that died in vain,
Fending off the invaders that destroyed their culture

In the name of mighty god,
Nature's children burnt alive,
Men and women died,
Pagan shrines destroyed,
Kingdom of light established,
Preaches of death spared to those,
That converts and serves their god

They come with their beliefs from the eastern lands,
Holy knights invading and destroying villages,
Kneel down to their god or else they are tied to the stake,
Tortured and scorched alive

Hail to the burnt ones for their bravery,
Life bartered for the denial of haven

In the name of mighty god,
Nature's children burnt alive,
Men and women died,
Pagan shrines destroyed,
Kingdom of light established,
Preaches of death spared to those,
That converts and serves their god

Warriors of nature - (may your) souls rest in peace,
(your) death only ignites the spirit in us,
We will avenge for their humble death

(solo)

Blessed in the name of mother nature,
Salvation never clouded their wisdom,
They died carrying the symbol of pentacle with them
