Evenoire

Minstrel of dolomites

Evenoire
Tonight i’ll sing you the story of my life
I’ve loved music since i was a child
A spell turned my fingers into iron
All instruments broke into my hands

One day i met a beautiful wood nymph
She played sweet melodies with her lyre
She said i couldn’t know and call her name or
She would disappeared into a lake of tears

Spirits of the mountains and the trees
Of the lakes and rivers and the seas
Mother earth she spread them
Into the whole nature
Sun and moon take care of
Her creatures

A night i saw a fire in the dark wood
Sitting around little gnomes cristiannes
I heard them telling rumours and tales
They said her name, my nymph antermoia

Looking into her deep water blue eyes
Nothing was as sweet as calling her name
The fate was done, do you know what happened?
She turned into a crystal lake

Spirits of the mountains and the trees
Of the lakes and rivers and the seas
Mother earth she spread them
Into the whole nature
Sun and moon take care of
Her creatures

Gnomes’ choir:
Our dear antermoia
Now that he said your name
Oswald gained the music
But he lost you, his love

From the valleys to the mounts
Oswald tells legends and tales
Everybody calls him
Minstrel of dolomites
