As I walk alone westbound on Oxford Street
People go by with somewhere to be
Faces multiply on my sight, none the merrier
Bags full of presents, hope’s on its way

A gentle rain on the overcoat
Drags me home
And I wonder how much longer
I can afford to be alone

But when I look into the skies
I can see your shinning eyes

Looking at me

Anytime is the best time to make things right
Don’t hang on sorrow anymore

Simple thoughts of mornings
Make me smile
Memories to fill a world
In this lonely tiny isle
