Hopeless

Don't look up maybe their watching you.
Maybe they want to be part of your life. Don't look now maybe their killing you.
Maybe they're laughing at somebody else. Don't look down maybe they'll think you're not afraid.
Maybe they'll see you naked and ugly for who you are. It's not their fault. If only you weren't so hopeless.
Why not go try to become somebody else.
Don't look now maybe they're pointing. Maybe they like the way you wear your coat. Don't slow down your heart is too loud and it gives you away.
They'll never be fooled by a wink and smile.
