Lunatics in poetry

Parachute

Lunatics in poetry
You've got a pair of shoes, but you don't need to walk
You've got a parachute, I saw you
When you approached me with this sort of agressiveness
That's been hidden by the subtleness of your breath on my neck

I can see your face
But I don't want to face it
Right now
Maybe tomorrow

Could you see your house from wherever you fell?
Do you really need me tonight?
Or can I go back to solid ground

When you go head down flying, I got my back down
I watched that wingsuited man fly right through your chest
I confess

That I can reach your face
But I just cannot face it
Acrophobia in a lot of cases

Could you see your house from wherever you fell?
Do you really need me tonight?
Or can I go back to solid ground

Don't you think this plan has gone up way higher than the actual plane
I'm 100 miles per hour and yet there is no sight of what excites you
So I'll open my parachute

Parachute
Pair of shoes
Parachute
