I looked up high

I have faced my enemies
Without anyone's help
I've given my heart to uncertainty
I've gambled the coins that I had
I've drank from dried fountain
I've received many blows and almost died
My strength had reached the end

But I looked up high and discovered that
My help comes from there
(From The Lord)
So I called Him and He answered me
And rescued me and then I could move on

(Defeating enemies, no more doubts)
(And I drank the water of life)

They still think they are forever independent
And that prayer is just a lie
They call crutches true religion
Drinking in dried fountains
They receive blows until they almost die
Their strength will end one day
