Taywood

Time waits for no one

Taywood
When I was a young boy
I used to play catch outside
My older brothers an I
Stayed out until we saw the nightsky
Mom called us in for supper
We eat it up and go right out again
Scraped knees and dirty clothes
I'll never forget times like those

Throughout school I didn't know
Who i'd was and who i'll become
Always trying to be someone
Only if I knew what I know now
I always knew the time will come
I'd have to be part of this machine
Was hoping that I could run
Away from all of these from
I wanna be a better man
But I guess that time will tell

Me and Evan would meet outfront
We waited until we saw the nightsky
We meet up with everyone
Flames were so high it felt like our home
Would it be a place to hide
So that we could be our own
When I was a young boy
I used to play catch outside
When I was a young boy
I used to play catch outside
