This halo that i bend, it quietly condemns.
I sin. i’ll burn. i know.
I cannot save my soul with charm and intellect.
Molecular architects built me
With a devil’s head but a saint’s heart.

Repent and go to heaven.

The scars i’ve been taught to sketch
Are weapons of lament composed of cutlery.
Shhh, confession.
Bring the armies.
Bring the horses.
Burn the sinners.
Burn the whores and save me baby.
Make me scream.
Then whisper the secrets
We won’t tell the priests
