Three mile pilot

Eastern wave

Three mile pilot
This for the days that I fear
This if for the way my legs fold
This is for the days I feel too close to my home

From that seat its easy to say they want it all but they won't change and still they remain chained I've seen the dead walk
And miles away our plans to be replaced seem so clear and they remain fastened and chained to this anthem and to that view

At least I'm brave
On an eastern wave
Through the western grave

I could sift through whats left
Keep it fresh to let it sting
And just when you thought to leave this crass season fell

Its a legend of fire and pain
Where then were sharp teeth
I can't imagine all the things you say you've seen
With too many eyes on the door
Theres too many hands in the jar

And miles away our plans to be replaced seem so clear and they remain fastened and chanined to that view
I've seen the dead walk
