Sacrificed to europe

In 1923 Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi
founded the Movement Pan-Europa
and three years later gathered political figures
in the First Paneuropean Congress

From thereon a development had begun
leading straight to the european union
The future of the EU seemed so bright
and every prognosis was considered right

Today we have to face the fact
that all those foretellings were not correct
Not only do we have unemployment to fight
but has our future turned darker than the darkest night

Free trade and open borders allow companies to put
production to foreign countries, just take a look
at the loss of jobs in germany that still goes on
and don't forget about our high loans...

After all they are no longer high
because with the euro prices arose to the sky
calculated with the fixed course the amount may be the same
but after all it is less that we gain

The money in germany urgently needed
is given to the EU to be redistributed
and used for the salary of politicians unwanted
in their own land so they're beeing sent to Brussels

To make decisions that affect our future
our rights, our land and our personal freedom
The union will cause us to loose our culture
together with the strong germany our parents have built

Someday we will tell our children
a story of what germany once had been
when the poverty of all our eastern neighbours
in germany also will be seen
